Chapter 15
"Ahh!" Ike screamed in a girly voice, pulling over quickly. "Who the heck are you?!" he asked.
Becca started laughing at how scared Ike looked. "You're so cute when you're angry!" she said, with a dazed look.
Ike rolled his eyes at her, and said to Tay, "Oh great, we have a fan situation!".
Becca's smile flipped into a frown, and said, "Fine, thanks a lot, I knew you guys were jerks anyway! How could such sexy guys with so much money be nice!?" she said, sitting in the backseat, pouting. Tay glared at Ike, reminding him of the golden rule: NEVER upset a fan.
"Hey, calm down, you just scared us... can you tell us where we are?" Tay asked, trying to get Becca back on the Hanson side.
Becca stifled a grin. Tay's eyes are REALLY blue! she thought. And his hair looks GREAT short! She snapped back into reality when Jacqui's head popped up next to her own.
"Hi!" she said. Ike again rolled his eyes and said, "How many people are back there?!", as he began flipping up the blanket.
"We're it!" Becca said, triumphantly. Ike smiled and simply said, "Oh," and turned so he could face the 2 chicks who were in his back seat. Man that other chicks not bad!Ike thought to himself, facing Jacqui. Taylor had found a gal he liked too, turning to face Becca. The girls noticed that they were getting the wrong grins from the wrong guys.
"So, what are your names?" Ike asked, still off in his own little world staring at Jacqui. Jacqui turned to face Tay and said, "I'm Jacqui, and this is Becca,".
"We are really big fans!" Becca started. "I am a guitarist and so is Jac, but she likes the piano better. We get together and play a lot, and we know all your songs and we love you a lot!," Becca said.
Jacqui rolled her eyes. Good job, Becca! Just ruin it for us! she thought to herself. "Yeah, we like you guys a lot," Jac added to try and make up for Becca's splurge into the ditz world.
"Oh i c", said Isaac. Silence followed for what seemed like forever, and Becca tried to pathetically lighten the mood by making a cricket noise. No one laughed, so she made the tumbleweed. Both of these were quite over both Tay and Ike's heads. The two brothers exchanged glances.
"Well... didn't you say you know where we are?" Ike said, breaking the silence.
"Yeah, we're at.. oh my gosh Kalamazoo! You drove us 4 hours in the wrong direction?!" Becca said, annoyed, but glad that she could be spending more time with her wanna-be-boyfriend.
Ike blushed. "Yeah, I guess I did," he said simply, looking down.
Becca sighed, glad that she knew the town. "Well, there's a little coffee shop out this exit and to the left," she said, pointing the route. "We can stop there and get something to eat and then we can get directions too. I know the owner, she's really nice," Becca said, happily.
Ike nodded, and proceeded to pull off the side of the freeway and on to the exit ramp. Jacqui elbowed Becca and smiled at her. Becca knew exactly what she meant. They were both in love with the 2 guys in front of them. "What could be better than this?" Becca whispered.

Vega's hair was soaked by the time she reached the convertible. She looked at the steering wheel. Some moron had left the keys in the car. She hopped in, turned on the engine, and closed the hood. The car was wet, but not drenched. She figured it would be alright once it dried. She had nothing better to do, so she drove the car out to the end of her street and flipped on the turn signal.* * * * * * * *
